A Great Collection (Rating 5 of 5)
R.L. Stevenson said: "No one has have succeeded as a writer of short stories who had not originality and ingenuity."
Richard Kennedy proves this point and more in his latest book, "Sundry Short Stories." This a collection that will both entertain and inspire.
As a writer of thirty novels myself, my hat's off to Kennedy for being able to evoke such emotion and wisdom in the short form.
R.L. Stevenson would be proud.

Interesting collection of modern stories (Rating 5 of 5)
The autor gets right to the point in
"Asides"
A new driver walked up to the counter at her office to drop off supplies; he was struck by the young woman whose eyes flashed up from the terminal screen. She jumped from behind the desk to receive the order. The simple transaction was invaded by curious glances and flirtatious remarks. He left with her phone number, confident she was a descendant of Helen of Troy. She returned to data-entry all thumbs, forgetting her lighted cigarette, so taken by this new dimension. Sated by the singles scene and thus vulnerable to the vagaries of romantic perceptions, both tagged karma to this chance meeting.
Several enchantingly romantic weekends led to decisive marriage rather than to an insulting arrangement, hedging the purity of their feelings. Both were reasonably ambitious, going to night school together, twice a week; still they sustained uninterrupted time for each other going into the fourth month of their blissful relationship.
Many more stories of heartbreak, irony and humor.
