This is a fantastic book for anyone interested in antiques generally and/or antiquing in London. With almost 200 color illustrations, the book is visually stunning - in a larger format it would have been a handsome coffee table book. Kimberly Jayne Gray proves herself as possibly the leading expert in London's antiques scene, and even seasoned antiquers will be hard pressed to say they knew of more than a fraction of the 350+ antiques sources concisely reviewed in this wonderful book.
Different chapters review antiques districts, collecting antiques styles, auction houses, fairs and markets. There are also really useful suggestions as to where to eat when out antiquing, and other places of interest nearby London's ten antiques districts.
